Saved Searches allow you to save any of the criteria you regularly use to build a list so that you can quickly access it again in the future. This is particularly helpful for searches that you have entered in several different criteria and are going to be running over again. Saved Searches are available for both the Talking About Search as well as traditional searching.
Saving a Traditional Search
- Click on Search Media Contacts option from the Influencers tab in the Next Gen Cision Communications Cloud. This will open the Cision Media Database.
- Select the Search page from the Influencer tab in the Cision Media Database.
3. Enter in any criteria that you wish to run
4. Click Search
Once you run the search you will be taken to your results set. If you are happy with the results you retrieve and want to save this search for future use:
05. Click on the Save Search button on the top right of the page.
06. Enter a name for the saved search. This can be no longer than 250 characters.
07. Click Save
Remember, this is not saving the contacts that come back in your results set, this is saving the criteria you used to build the list. To learn more about saving contacts to a list, click here.
All saved searches will be available account wide. This means, if you have different Data Groups setup in your platform, you will see Saved Searches across all Data Groups.
Locating Saved Searches
All Saved Searches are located on the Influencers Search page.
- Click Influencers
- Click Search
You will see Traditional Searches at the bottom of the screen.
All saved searches will be available account wide. This means, if you have different data groups setup in your platform, you will see Saved Searches across all data groups. When selecting a saved or recent search in a different data group, all the data group specific criteria (lists & campaigns) will not load. All other search criteria will load as expected. If you select a search that has data group specific criteria you will get a pop up saying, “Some of the criteria you selected is not available in your current data group.”
To use any of your previously saved searches, click on the linked text and it will populate all the criteria you used to create the search at the top. This allows you to make any modifications you would like before you run it.
