Removing Contacts or Outlets from a Saved List

As you are diving deeper into which journalists and outlets are included in your saved lists and begin sending out communications to those contacts, you may decide that you want to remove contacts from a saved list. This may be because the contacts are not right for the pitches you plan to send to that list or the journalist unsubscribed from emails. You are able to remove single contacts, however, you can also remove multiple contacts at the same time!

To Delete a Single Contact:

1. Navigate to the Contacts tab.

2. Select Lists.
3. Click on the list name you would like to remove contact from.
4. Select the contact you would like to remove by checking the box to the left of their profile row in the list view.
                                                               OR
5. Click on the ellipses button in the upper-right corner of their profile row in the list view.
6. Click on Remove from List at the top of the screen if you checked a box for the contact you want to remove.

                                                               OR

7. Click on Remove From List in the ellipses dropdown.

8. Click OK on the pop up to remove the contact from the list.

To Delete Multiple Contacts in Bulk:

1. Navigate to the Contacts tab.

2. Select Lists.

3. Click on the list name you would like to remove contacts from.

4. Select the contacts you would like to remove by checking the box to the left of their profile row in the list view
Note: You can search through the list of contacts and outlets using the sorting options at the top right of the page.
  • Relevance: Auto-sort of results based upon your search parameters and filters applied.
  • Name: Sort contacts and outlets alphabetically by full name. This option will sort contacts by first name full name for outlets.
  • Article Reach: The expected or actual readership for media outlets/average readership of journalist's articles in last 180 days
  • Social Reach: The sum of a journalists subscribers and followers across Twitter and Twitch
  • Engagement Score: A 1-10 score reflecting engagement on the influencer's article and social content
  • Weekly Activity: The average number of articles and tweets the influencer publishes per week
5. Click on Remove from List at the top of the screen. 
6. Click on the Remove Contacts button in the pop up
7. The platform will let you know that you successfully removed contacts from the list.
