Integrating with RSS Feed Version 2 from RSS Feed Version 1

We heard from our customers that you wanted RSS Feed version 2 support, and we listened. Cision now supports RSS Feed Version 2, in addition to RSS Feed Version 1.

If you currently rely on Cision RSS feeds for your systems, you should not require any changes to your use of existing feeds, as you can continue in version 1 format and we will still support that version.

If you have an existing version 1 RSS feed, and want to obtain that in version 2 format, you can simply add a “2” after the “rss” in the address of your feed, as you see in bold below:

…rss2?feed_id=acb…132&is_v3=true

Any new RSS feeds created will now automatically default to version 2.  If you need a new feed in version 1 format, you can simply remove the “2” after the “rss” in the address of your feed, as seen below:
