Editing Existing Users within the Platform

With an Admin Role in the Next Generation Cision Communications Cloud, you have the ability to edit an existing user's role, reset their password, and remove a user from the platform.

To Make Changes to a User's Role:

1. Click on the dropdown arrow next to your name in the upper-right corner of the screen and select the Settings option.
2. Select the Manage Users tab.

3. Use the arrows to page through the users in your platform.

3. You can filter the list of existing users by Username, Name or Language.

4. Hover over the user whom you would like to edit and click on the Pencil Icon to edit the user's Role.
5. Select either ADMIN or USER from the Role dropdown and click on the Save Changes button.

To Reset a User's Password:

1. Click on the dropdown arrow next to your name in the upper-right corner of the screen and select the Settings option.

2. Select the Manage Users tab.

3. Use the arrows to page through the users in your platform.

3. You can filter the list of existing users by Username, Name or Language.

4. Hover over the user whom you would like to edit and click on the Lock Icon to reset the user's password.
5. Click on the Confirm button to send a reset password email to the user.
NOTE: New user’s passwords must be at least 6 characters with one number. Once the password is accepted, the user will be directed to the sign-in screen.

To Remove a User's Platform Access:

1. Click on the dropdown arrow next to your name in the upper-right corner of the screen and select the Settings option.

2. Select the Manage Users tab.

3. Use the arrows to page through the users in your platform.

3. You can filter the list of existing users by Username, Name or Language.


4. Hover over the user whom you would like to edit and click on the Toggle Switch to remove the user.


Note: You will see the user crossed out when access is removed.


5. Click on the Toggle Switch again to re-activate the user, then use the Lock Icon to send them a password reset email.
