Activating Impact Audiences

Once you have created Personas and had a chance to analyze the size, demographics, firmographics, and activity of a Persona's audience, you may want to further target a particular audience that is at their peak of their content consumption. Additional re-targeting of a particular audience is available through our Activation service. 

We offer an opportunity to utilize a form within the application to activate your audiences, as discussed below. Should you require support for your audience activations after using the in-app options, please reach out to your Account Manager for assistance.

Activating an Audience:

1. Click the Analytics tab.
2. Select Impact for Earned Media from the drop down menu.
3. Click on the Activate Audience button (megaphone icon) on any search.  When you create a persona for any search, it will be visible in every other search's Attribution chart. This means that you can also edit or update a Persona for any search.
4. Alternatively, if you select the Audience Insights button (arrow icon), that will guide you first to all of the data gathered by the search, where you can then Activate an Audience.

When using the Activate Audience Button to Activate a Persona or Entire Audience:

Click the Activate Audience button (megaphone icon).

1. Select the specific Persona Audience or the Entire Audience of the search for Activation.
   • Note: If you select the entire audience for the search, you can define whether you want to activate the Entire Search Audience or Entire Search Audience members who Performed one or more Actions.
2. Click the Next: Define Audience Activation button.
3. You will be guided through a step by step process for defining your Activation. 

When Using the Audience Insights Button  to Activate a Persona or Entire Audience:

Click the Audience Insights button (arrow icon) on the desired search.

1. Select the Activate Audience button in the upper right hand corner.
2. Review the steps to initiate your audience activation, then click Activate Audience again. You will then be guided through a step by step process for defining your Activation. 

Define Your Activation and Add Contact Details:

1. Select the Persona Audience or Entire Audience you would like to Activate, then click on the Next: Define Audience Activation button.
2. Enter the intended Activation Launch Date. 3. Enter the URL for the Intended Landing Page to which the Activation will lead the audience. Providing the landing page gives our team the opportunity to prepare potential creative ideas for your Activation. 4. Click on the Next: Add Contact Details button.
5. The final step is to add your contact information so that our team can reach out to you about Activation details and options.   6. Once you have entered your information, be sure to click the Send Request button in the upper right hand corner.
